Cookies
This site sets one cookie, it is required for the contact and demo forms to work safely, and it is not used to track you. That is the whole story — the detail is below.

| Cookie | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
dunebyte-session |
Identifies your browsing session so that a form you submit can be proved to have come from a page we served you. Without it, the contact and demo forms could be submitted on your behalf by another site. It holds a random identifier — no name, no email address and nothing you typed. | After 120 minutes of inactivity, or when you close your browser. |
XSRF-TOKEN |
The readable half of the same protection, used by the page itself. Same lifetime, same contents: a random value, nothing personal. | Same as above. |
Both are first-party cookies, set by
dunebyte.om and readable only by it.
Neither can be read by JavaScript running on the page. Both carry
SameSite=Lax, which means your
browser will not attach them to a request another website makes to us in the background —
only to a page you navigate to yourself.
They are also flagged so your browser sends them over HTTPS only.
There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no social-network cookies and no cookies belonging to any other company. This site loads no third-party scripts, fonts, embeds or pixels at all, so no other party is in a position to set one.
We do count page views, but deliberately without a cookie: nothing about that count is stored in your browser.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent rules exist for cookies that are not needed to deliver the page you asked for — chiefly tracking and advertising. Cookies that are strictly necessary for a site to function, which is what both of ours are, do not require consent. Since we set nothing else, there is nothing to ask you about, and a banner would only imply that we were doing something we are not.
If that ever changes — if we add an analytics or marketing cookie of any kind — we will ask for your consent before setting it, and this page will say so.
Blocking them
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Reading this site will still work normally. The one thing that will not work is submitting the contact or demo form: without the session cookie we cannot verify the submission came from you, and it will be rejected. If you have cookies switched off, email info@dunebyte.om instead.
Local storage
We do not use browser local storage, session storage, indexed databases or any other client-side storage to hold information about you.
Questions go to info@dunebyte.om. See also our privacy notice and terms of use.
